🪙 How to pay for Hype Trade usage time with USDC

aWhy pay with USDC

When you pay with USDC, everything up to adding the usage time runs automatically once the transfer is confirmed on the blockchain. The yen equivalent at the rate at the time of purchase is recorded, and you can download a receipt (PDF) from the purchase history on the Payment page.

USDC is pegged to the US dollar, so the yen equivalent changes with the exchange rate.

bWhat you need (wallet)

• A Hype Trade account (sign up with an email address and password, then confirm via the link sent by email)
• A wallet that can send USDC. After logging in, the "Connect wallet" button at the top right offers these wallets: Uniswap Wallet / MetaMask / Trust Wallet / Jupiter Wallet
• The network's own currency, to pay the transfer fee (gas)

Payment is designed around wallet extensions in a desktop browser. For wallet apps on phones and tablets, we have not been able to confirm that every combination of wallet and device works.

cUSDC and supported networks

This page is for people who already hold USDC. It does not explain how to obtain USDC.

USDC is the only currency accepted. Supported networks: Arbitrum / Ethereum / Base / Optimism / Polygon / Solana

You cannot pay with USDC on a network not listed above, or with any currency other than USDC.

dSteps to pay

1. Sign up, open the confirmation link sent by email, and log in.
2. Press "Connect wallet" at the top right, choose your wallet and connect. The network used for payment is the one selected in your wallet when you connect.
3. Open the Payment page, choose the period to buy, and press "Buy".
4. Check the amount and network shown in the confirmation dialog and in your wallet, then approve the transfer yourself.
5. Once the transfer is confirmed on the blockchain, the usage time is added.

The USDC we receive is converted into usage time as soon as the transfer is confirmed on the blockchain. We do not hold it as a USDC balance.

Usage time starts running at the time of purchase (it also runs while you are not logged in). If you buy more before your current time expires, it is added after the current expiry.

The receiving address is not shown on this page. Send from the "Buy" button on the Payment page after logging in.

The usage time you buy is used for the screens where you log in and view your own account records (balances, open positions, fills, deposits and withdrawals) and for AI analysis based on those records. Orders are not currently accepted through this service.

ePrices and fees

• "1 month" means 720 hours of usage time (not a calendar month). It is not a monthly subscription and does not renew automatically.
• 60m of usage time is added free when you sign up.
• The blockchain transfer fee (gas) is paid by you. The amount depends on the network and how busy it is at the time.

fIf something goes wrong or the time is not added

• A blockchain transfer cannot be cancelled once sent. Funds sent on the wrong network or to the wrong address may not be recoverable.
• USDC is built so that its issuer (Circle) can, under its terms, block the transfer of USDC to and from a specific address. We cannot block or reverse a transfer ourselves.
• When you send from the "Buy" button, the service sets the network and the destination. If your wallet cannot be switched to that network, the process stops without sending.
• Usage time is calculated from the amount of USDC actually received. Anything received above the price of the period you chose also becomes usage time; if less arrives, you get time only for the amount received.
• The price table is applied from the longest period down, and any remainder is converted to minutes at the 1-hour price (2 USDC), rounded down to the minute. Transfers below 0.01 USDC do not become usage time.
• After you send, the page keeps checking automatically. If it ends while still "Pending", or you closed the page partway, reopen the Payment page and it will check again.
• If the time is still not added, please contact us with the transaction hash (the signature on Solana) from your wallet history.
• A transaction ID that was pasted on the support page (tip.microfund.co.jp) cannot be used to pay a service fee (the same transfer is not counted twice).
• Purchased usage time cannot be refunded or cancelled (including unused time). For the terms, please see the Legal Notice (Specified Commercial Transactions Act).

gIf you do not have a wallet

Paying with USDC requires a wallet. If you do not have one, the steps on this page do not apply to you.
